Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the use of this website and the services AWN provides. Individual projects are also governed by the signed proposal for that engagement.
These terms govern the use of this website and the services AWN provides. Individual projects are also governed by the signed proposal for that engagement.
01Who you are contracting with
This website and the services described on it are provided by AWN Digital Solutions (عون للحلول الرقمية), an Individual Establishment [Sijilli] registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration number 122747-3.
By using this website or engaging AWN, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
02What we provide
AWN provides digital services: software and web development, IT and technology consultancy, data protection and governance advisory, digital awareness and training, and advertising and marketing services.
These fall within our registered business activities: computer programming activities; computer consultancy and computer facilities management activities; and publicity and advertising.
Our data protection work is advisory, governance and assessment work. We do not hold ourselves out as a specialist cybersecurity firm and do not provide penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response or managed security operations. Where an engagement requires those, we refer the work to accredited specialist providers.
03How an order is placed and accepted
Service descriptions and prices shown on this website are indicative and for general information. They are not an offer and do not form a contract. Where anything on this website conflicts with a signed proposal, the signed proposal takes precedence.
- You submit a request through this website, by email, or in a meeting.
- AWN issues a written proposal setting out the scope, deliverables, timeline, price and any exclusions.
- You accept the proposal in writing. A contract is formed only at that point.
- Where a deposit is required, work begins once the deposit is received.
04Prices, currency and taxes
All prices on this website are shown in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and are indicative starting points for the smallest version of the service or system described. Final pricing depends on scope, integrations, data migration, compliance requirements, support level and timeline, and is confirmed in a written quotation.
AWN is not currently registered for Bahrain VAT, so no VAT is added to the prices shown. If that changes, prices and invoices will state the VAT treatment explicitly.
Prices exclude third-party costs such as hosting, software licences, payment gateway and acquirer fees, app store fees and government charges, unless a proposal states otherwise. Where an engagement is quoted in another currency, the exchange rate is fixed in the proposal.
05Payment terms and methods
We may suspend work on overdue invoices after written notice. Deliverables and intellectual property transfer on full payment.
- Standard payment schedule: 50% on acceptance, 30% at staging or UAT delivery, 20% at go-live, unless the proposal states otherwise.
- Retainers and maintenance plans are invoiced monthly in advance.
- Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless the proposal states otherwise.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, and — once our payment provider account is active — debit and credit cards, Benefit and Apple Pay through our payment processor.
- Card payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment processor. AWN never receives or stores your card details.
06Delivery of services
All services are delivered digitally, remotely or on site in Bahrain as agreed. No physical goods are shipped. Timelines assume you provide required information, access, content and approvals when scheduled; delays on your side extend the timeline correspondingly. Where a delivery date is at risk for any reason on our side, we tell you as soon as we know and agree a revised date.
- Consultancy and assessment engagements: typically 2–4 weeks from kick-off, with the written output delivered at the end.
- Training and awareness sessions: delivered on the agreed date, with materials provided at the session.
- Software and system projects: delivered in milestones set out in the proposal, typically 4–16 weeks depending on scope.
- Maintenance and support: delivered continuously for the term, with response times set out in the proposal.
07Changes and cancellation
Refunds are dealt with in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
- Changes to an agreed scope are quoted in writing and confirmed before the work is done. They are not absorbed silently.
- You may cancel an engagement at any time by written notice.
- On cancellation, you pay for work completed and milestones started up to the cancellation date; any amount paid for milestones not yet started is refunded.
- AWN may cancel where an engagement falls outside our registered activities or qualifications, where required information or access is not provided, or where invoices remain unpaid after notice.
08Your responsibilities
We may decline, delay or delete submissions that appear automated, abusive or fraudulent.
- Provide accurate information, and only information you are entitled to share.
- Do not submit sensitive personal data, credentials or confidential third-party information through a website form.
- Provide the access, content and approvals a project needs, when scheduled.
- Do not use the forms to send unsolicited commercial messages or automated submissions.
09Intellectual property
The AWN name, logo, wordmark, brand assets, page content and interface mock-ups on this website belong to AWN and may not be copied, reproduced or reused without written permission.
Intellectual property in client deliverables is dealt with in the relevant proposal. Our standard position is that deliverables — code, data, documentation and credentials — transfer to the client on full payment. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how used to build them, and grant you a licence to use those as part of the deliverable.
10Interface mock-ups on this site
The product illustrations on the Solutions pages are interface mock-ups created for this website. They are not screenshots of any client system and do not show any real institutional or personal data.
11Confidentiality
Information you send us through the proposal or consultation forms is treated as confidential and used only to respond to your enquiry. Where an engagement requires it, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before detailed information is exchanged.
12Warranties and liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care. Software deliverables are covered by a defect-correction period stated in the proposal, during which we fix faults in delivered functionality at no charge. That does not cover new requirements, changes you make yourself, or faults in third-party services.
We aim to keep this website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every detail is current. To the extent permitted by law, AWN is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from reliance on general website content. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13External links
Where this website links to third-party sites, we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
