Who We Are
AWN builds and maintains the software institutions depend on every day: student records and fee collection for schools, appraisal cycles for HR teams, visit logs for infirmaries, event and facility bookings, bookstore stock and point-of-sale, and the portals and mobile apps that tie them together.
We are based in Bahrain and led by a technology professional with more than 25 years in software development, school systems, digital transformation and data protection. Projects are scoped by someone who has run these systems in production — not only specified them.
Most of our work replaces something that stopped scaling: a spreadsheet, a paper diary, a shared inbox. We migrate the existing data, train your staff, and hand over documentation you keep.
What we replace
Replacing the spreadsheet that half the office depends on.

Our Solutions
These are the systems we build and maintain. Most started as a spreadsheet, a paper file or a WhatsApp group that stopped scaling.
Prices are in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and are indicative starting points for the smallest version of each system. Final cost depends on scope, integrations, data migration and support level, and is confirmed in a written quotation.
Consultation
System reviews, technology planning and vendor selection — with a written recommendation you can act on or take to a board.
Systems
School management, appraisal, booking, infirmary, inventory and POS systems, plus the portals and mobile apps on top of them.
Protection
Data inventories, privacy notices, consent, retention and access control — practical PDPL work built into the systems that hold the data.
Awareness
Staff training and awareness programmes on the systems we build and on responsible handling of personal data.
Problems We Solve
Client names and testimonials will be published as clients approve them. Until then, these are anonymized examples of the problems we are brought in to solve.
The situation
Student records, fee tracking and attendance lived in separate spreadsheets. Every report meant a week of manual reconciliation, and the numbers rarely agreed.
What we put in place
One student record with fees, attendance and grades attached to it, migrated from the existing spreadsheets, with reports generated from live data.
The situation
The annual appraisal cycle ran on emailed Word forms. Managers missed deadlines, forms went unsigned, and HR had no view of progress until the cycle was over.
What we put in place
A structured cycle with objectives, self-assessment, review and sign-off, automatic reminders and escalation, and a permanent audit trail for every employee.
The situation
Hall and equipment bookings were taken over WhatsApp and written into a paper diary. Double bookings were routine and nobody could report on usage.
What we put in place
Self-service booking with capacity limits, approval rules and automatic confirmations, plus usage and no-show reporting per resource.
The situation
The organization held personal data across several systems with no inventory, no retention rules and no defined process for handling access or deletion requests.
What we put in place
A data inventory and records of processing, privacy notices and consent capture, retention rules enforced in the systems, and a documented request-handling procedure.
Why AWN
We have built these systems before. Scoping is done by the person accountable for delivery, timelines are written down, and you own the code and the data at handover.
